1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp ground coriander
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp tomato paste

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
For the Hot Honey Feta Cream
1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
½ cup full-fat Greek yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp red chili flakes
1 clove roasted garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
1–2 tbsp water (to thin for spreading)
For Assembly
4 large pita breads or wraps
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced cucumber
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
Optional: extra hot honey drizzle
Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add diced onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
Mix in paprika, cumin, oregano, coriander, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and tomato paste.
Cook for 2 more minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and parsley, then remove from heat.
Step 2: Prepare the Hot Honey Feta Cream
Add feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, roasted garlic, chili flakes, and lemon juice to a food processor.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add water as needed to achieve a spreadable consistency.
Step 3: Warm the Pitas
Warm pita breads in a dry skillet or oven until soft and pliable.
Step 4: Assemble the Wraps
Spread a generous layer of hot honey feta cream onto each pita.
Add the spiced ground beef.
Top with lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
Drizzle with additional hot honey if desired.
Fold, wrap, and serve immediately.
Use freshly crumbled feta for the creamiest texture.
For extra heat, increase the chili flakes or drizzle additional hot honey.
Ground lamb can be substituted for a more traditional Mediterranean flavor.
The beef mixture can be prepared up to 2 days ahead and refrigerated.
For a lighter option, use whole wheat pita and reduced-fat Greek yogurt.
