20 minute Honey Garlic Chicken Bites made with juicy chicken, crispy coating, and a sticky sweet garlic sauce. Perfect quick dinner packed with bold flavor.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts (2 pieces)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
3 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp avocado oil
6 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp red chili pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp water
2 tbsp cold butter
Chopped chives (for garnish)

Instructions

Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Add cornstarch and toss until evenly coated.
Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and crispy (about 5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
Lower heat and sauté minced garlic with chili flakes for about 1 minute.
Add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and water. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add cold butter and swirl until the sauce becomes glossy.
Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan when cooking the chicken.
Adjust chili flakes to control spice level.
Serve with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
Substitute chicken thighs for juicier results.
