Brownies
½ cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour

Chocolate Frosting
3 tablespoons butter, softened
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat.
Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and combined.
Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until fully incorporated.
Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top looks dry and the edges begin pulling away from the sides of the pan.
Let the brownies cool slightly while preparing the frosting.
For the frosting, combine softened butter, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and confectioners’ sugar in a bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting over the brownies while they are still slightly warm.
Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
