1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
1 cup prepared stuffing (store-bought or homemade)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small carrot, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup or tomato sauce (for topping)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, prepared stuffing, chopped onion, grated carrot, minced garlic, milk, egg, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Shape the Meatloaf
Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into an even loaf.
Add the Topping
Spread ketchup or tomato sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf. For extra flavor, drizzle Worcestershire sauce over the topping if desired.
Bake
Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is slightly browned.
Rest and Serve
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
Using stuffing adds extra moisture and flavor to the turkey meatloaf.
Ground chicken can be substituted for turkey if desired.
Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing helps it hold together better.
Pairs well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or green beans.
