Juicy chicken tossed in a rich garlic soy honey sauce with tender noodles makes this easy recipe perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to make the sauce.
Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.
Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and stir well to coat. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Chicken thighs will give a juicier result, while chicken breast is leaner.
Adjust chili flakes based on your spice preference.
You can add vegetables like bell peppers, broccoli, or carrots for extra nutrition.
For extra flavor, drizzle a little sesame oil before serving.
Use low-sodium soy sauce to control salt levels.
