This fun comfort food mashup combines buttery garlic bread bowls filled with cheesy baked spaghetti — perfect for weeknight dinners or using up leftovers.

Ingredients

For the Bread Bowls:

Small round bread loaves (sourdough or Italian)

Butter, softened

Garlic powder or minced garlic

Italian seasoning or dried parsley

For the Spaghetti Filling:

Cooked spaghetti noodles

Pasta sauce (marinara, Bolognese, or your favorite)

Olive oil

Minced garlic

Salt & black pepper

For the Cheese Topping:

Mozzarella cheese

Parmesan cheese

Chopped fresh parsley or basil

Instructions

Make Garlic Bread Bowls: Slice off tops of bread loaves and hollow out centers. Mix butter, garlic, and seasoning; brush inside of each loaf. Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) for about 10 minutes until lightly crisp.

Prepare Spaghetti: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cooked pasta and sauce, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.

Assemble & Bake: Spoon spaghetti into each garlic bread bowl. Top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5–10 minutes.

Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley or basil over top and serve hot.

Notes

Use hearty bread like sourdough to hold the filling.

Customize with different cheeses or sauces (Alfredo, pesto, arrabbiata).

Great use for leftover spaghetti!

Pre-baking the bread helps prevent sogginess.
