Ingredients

1 9-inch pie crust (pre-baked or homemade)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cornmeal

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup honey (mild, good-quality)

3 large eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 teaspoons white vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Flaky sea salt, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cornmeal, and salt until well combined.

Add honey, eggs, cream, vinegar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.

Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.

Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the center is just set and slightly wobbly.

Let the pie cool completely at room temperature.

Sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.

For the best texture, use room temperature eggs and cream.
