The perfect sweet breakfast treat—these roll-ups are buttery, cinnamon-packed, and super easy to make in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

10 slices white sandwich bread

3 tablespoons butter (melted)

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

For the French Toast Coating:

3 large eggs

1 tablespoon milk

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

23 tablespoons butter (for frying)

Instructions

Remove crusts from bread slices. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon.

Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly on each bread slice, leaving a small border around the edges.

Roll each slice tightly and press gently to seal the edges.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 2–3 tablespoons of butter.

Dip each roll in the egg mixture, then place seam-side down in the skillet.

Cook for 2–3 minutes total, rotating to brown all sides evenly.

Serve warm—optionally dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with syrup.

Notes

Use day-old bread for easier rolling and better texture.

Customize with a cream cheese or Nutella filling for extra indulgence.

These can be prepped ahead and refrigerated overnight before cooking.
