Lipton Onion Meatloaf

A classic family favorite made easy with Lipton Onion Soup Mix—juicy, flavorful, and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef (preferably 80/20)

1 packet Lipton® Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix

2 eggs

¾ cup plain dry breadcrumbs

¾ cup milk

2 tbsp ketchup (optional, for added flavor)

Optional topping: ¼ cup ketchup or BBQ sauce for glazing

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, and ketchup (if using).

Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix.

Shape into a loaf and place in a lightly greased baking dish or loaf pan.

Optional: Spread ketchup or BBQ sauce on top for a classic glazed finish.

Bake uncovered for 55–65 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

 

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey or a beef/pork blend.

Add chopped parsley or garlic powder for extra flavor.

Leftovers make great meatloaf sandwiches!

For a moister loaf, cover loosely with foil for the first 30 minutes, then uncover.
