Juicy grilled lamb burgers packed with Mediterranean flavor and topped with creamy feta. Perfect for summer cookouts or a gourmet twist on burger night.

Ingredients

1 lb ground lamb

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing grill or patties)

To Serve:

4 burger buns (toasted if desired)

Sliced red onion

Tomato slices

Cucumber slices or tzatziki sauce

Lettuce or arugula

Optional: extra crumbled feta for topping

Instructions

Make the Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, feta, garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties.

Preheat Grill: Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the Burgers: Place patties on the grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.

Assemble: Place burgers on buns and top with desired toppings such as tzatziki, red onion, cucumber, tomato, and greens.

Serve: Serve immediately with a side of fries, salad, or grilled vegetables.

Notes

Make it bun-less by serving over a salad or in lettuce wraps.

For a richer flavor, mix in a teaspoon of harissa or sun-dried tomato paste to the lamb.

You can make the patties ahead and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before grilling.
