Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese combines crispy golden garlic butter bread with gooey melted mozzarella and cheddar. This quick and easy comfort food recipe is perfect for lunch, dinner or an indulgent snack ready in minutes.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

½ tablespoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon dried parsley

4 slices sandwich bread

1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

Prepare Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley until fully combined.

Butter the Bread:
Spread the garlic butter evenly over one side of each slice of bread.

Assemble Sandwiches:
Place two slices of bread buttered-side down on a clean surface. Divide the shredded cheese evenly between them. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered-side up, forming two sandwiches.

Cook First Side:
Heat a large sauté pan over low heat. Place sandwiches into the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown and crisp.

Cook Other Side:
Carefully flip the sandwiches using a spatula. Cook another 4–5 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Serve:
Remove from pan and serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Notes

Keep the heat low to prevent burning while the cheese melts thoroughly.

Add a slice of provolone or Swiss for extra flavor depth.

Serve with tomato soup for a classic pairing.

For extra crispiness, sprinkle a little grated Parmesan on the buttered side before cooking.
