This fast & easy chicken parmesan recipe uses crispy frozen chicken strips, angel hair pasta, and melty mozzarella for a no-fuss, family-friendly dinner.
25 ounces frozen chicken fingers (e.g., Tyson Parmesan Herb Encrusted Chicken Strips)
8 ounces angel hair pasta
3 tablespoons butter
16 ounces store-bought pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional garnish: fresh chopped basil
Cook Chicken: Bake chicken strips according to package instructions.
Prepare Pasta: While chicken bakes, cook angel hair pasta according to package directions. Drain and stir in butter. Transfer to a 13″x9″ casserole dish and cover to keep warm.
Assemble Chicken Parmesan:
Once chicken is cooked, spoon a few tablespoons of pasta sauce over each strip.
Top with shredded mozzarella and return to oven for 5–10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Serve:
Place the cheesy chicken strips over the warm pasta.
Sprinkle chopped basil on top.
Heat remaining pasta sauce in the microwave and serve it on the side.
Swap angel hair for spaghetti or penne if desired.
Use a different sauce like marinara, arrabbiata, or garlic-basil for variety.
