Rich brownie chunks, mint Oreos, green vanilla pudding, and fluffy whipped topping come together in this fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day trifle everyone will love.

Ingredients

1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box for an 8x8 pan)

3.5 oz instant vanilla pudding mix

8 oz Cool Whip

Green food coloring

Mint Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions

Prepare and bake the brownies according to the package instructions using an 8×8 pan. Allow them to cool completely.

Prepare the instant vanilla pudding according to the package directions. Once thickened, add a few drops of green food coloring and stir until the desired shade of green is reached.

Place several Mint Oreo cookies into a zip-top bag, seal it, and gently crush them using your hands or a rolling pin.

Cut the cooled brownies into bite-sized cubes.

Assemble the trifle by layering in a trifle dish or serving bowl:

Layer brownie cubes

Layer green pudding

Layer Cool Whip

Repeat with another layer of brownies and pudding

Finish with a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle crushed Mint Oreos on top.

Chill the trifle in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For a natural green flavor, you can substitute pistachio pudding instead of adding food coloring.

This dessert can be made a few hours ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.

Individual cups can be used instead of a large trifle dish for easy party servings.
