Ingredients

For the Cheese Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter (unsalted)

4 ounces cream cheese (or dairy-free alternative)

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (or coconut cream)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp recommended)

For the Filling:

1 pound ground beef (or ground chicken/turkey)

2 tablespoons taco seasoning (low-sodium or homemade)

For the Wrap:

4 low-carb tortillas (Mission Carb Balance, almond flour tortillas, etc.)

1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)

Toppings & Garnishes:

1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)

1 medium tomato (or bell peppers/omit for fewer carbs)

1 cup extra shredded cheddar cheese (or pepper jack for spice)

1/4 cup chopped cilantro (or parsley)

1/2 cup jalapeño slices (optional)

For Cooking:

1 tablespoon olive oil (or any cooking oil)

Instructions

1. Cheese Sauce Preparation

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add cream cheese and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.

Stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.

2. Beef Cooking

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes.

Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.

3. Tortilla Crisping

In another skillet, heat olive oil.

Fry each tortilla for 1–2 minutes per side until golden.

Drain on paper towels.

4. Crunchwrap Assembly

On a large crispy tortilla, layer beef, warm cheese sauce, a smaller tortilla, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and extra cheese.

Fold the edges of the tortilla over the center to form a wrap.

5. Crunchwrap Cooking

Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down in a heated skillet with olive oil.

Cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and sealed.

6. Serving

Rest for 1 minute, then slice in half.

Top with cilantro and jalapeño slices before serving.

Notes

Keep cheese sauce warm during assembly to prevent thickening.

Avoid overfilling to keep the wrap sealed and crisp.

Add avocado or hot sauce for extra flavor if desired.

These can be made ahead and reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
