Deep Hamburger Beef Sausage & Pepperoni Pie

This hearty meat-lovers pie is loaded with ground beef, sausage, and layers of pepperoni, baked into a savory, deep-dish delight with bold Italian flavors.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

½ pound beef sausage

1 cup pepperoni slices

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 unbaked deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup pizza or marinara sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, sausage, and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.

Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute.

Remove from heat and mix in the pepperoni slices.

Place the unbaked pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan.

Spread pizza or marinara sauce over the crust. Add half the shredded mozzarella.

Spoon in the meat mixture, then top with the remaining cheese.

Bake for 25–30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly and crust is golden.

Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Add sliced bell peppers or mushrooms for a veggie boost.

Substitute spicy Italian sausage for extra kick.

Freezes well: wrap tightly and store up to 2 months.
