Golden, bite-sized salmon pieces glazed in a sticky honey garlic sauce. Crispy on the outside, tender inside—perfect for dinner or snacking.
For the salmon bites:
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon oil (avocado, canola, or olive oil)
For the honey garlic sauce:
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (optional)
1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (slurry for thickening)
In a bowl, toss salmon cubes with soy sauce, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon pieces in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, water, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens.
Return salmon bites to the pan and gently toss to coat in the sauce.
Serve immediately with rice, veggies, or in lettuce cups. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
For extra crispiness, lightly dredge salmon in flour and cornstarch.
Air fry salmon bites at 400°F for 7–9 minutes for a healthier version.
Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy twist.
Sauce can be doubled and used as a glaze for shrimp or chicken.
