These cheesy chicken crescent rolls are a quick and easy comfort food perfect for weeknights or appetizers. Filled with tender chicken, cream cheese, and cheddar, then baked until golden.

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)

2 cups cooked chicken breasts, cubed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

In a bowl, mix together cubed chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll up tightly.

Brush each roll with the beaten egg and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra parsley or dipping sauce like ranch or marinara.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.

Try adding chopped green onions or crumbled bacon for extra flavor.

Works well as an appetizer, snack, or quick dinner.

Crescent rolls can be substituted with puff pastry or biscuit dough for variety.
