Crispy golden bread with melted mozzarella and vibrant caprese flavors makes this panini an irresistible easy meal.
2 slices of bread (ciabatta or sourdough recommended)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ball fresh mozzarella, sliced
2–3 slices ripe tomato
4–5 fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
Brush the outside of both slices of bread with olive oil.
Layer the mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and basil leaves onto the inside of one slice of bread.
Drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over the fillings.
Place the second slice of bread on top, with the oiled side facing outward.
Heat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.
