Chocolate Cake Layer
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup milk
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cherry Filling
2 cups cherry pie filling
Whipped Cream Layer
2 cups heavy whipping cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Prepare the Chocolate Cake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
