A warm and cozy dessert made with cinnamon apples, biscuits, and sweet glaze—perfect for fall baking.
2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best)
1 (16.3 oz) can refrigerated biscuits, each cut into quarters
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
For the Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
Add biscuit pieces and diced apples to the bowl; toss to coat evenly.
Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir until everything is coated.
Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with nuts if using.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
Drizzle glaze over warm casserole before serving.
You can use canned apple pie filling instead of fresh apples for a shortcut.
Best served warm, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra fall spice.
