1 lb baby bella (cremini) mushrooms, cleaned and halved (or quartered if large)

1½ tbsp olive oil

1½ tsp low-sodium soy sauce

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat Air Fryer: Set to 380°F and preheat for 3–5 minutes.

Season Mushrooms: In a large bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well coated.

Air Fry: Place mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until browned and tender.

Serve: Taste and season with extra pepper or a pinch of sea salt if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Make sure mushrooms are similar in size for even cooking.

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.

Add a splash of balsamic vinegar after air frying for extra flavor.

Great as a side dish, on toast, in wraps, or over grains.
