These sweet air fried apple wedges are crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a dreamy caramel whipped cream for the perfect fall dessert or snack.

Ingredients

→ Apple Wedges:

3 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), sliced into wedges

1 tablespoon melted butter

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Caramel Whipped Cream Dipping Sauce:

½ cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons caramel sauce

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Extra caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 375°F.

In a large bowl, toss apple wedges with melted butter.

In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Coat the apples evenly with the mixture.

Arrange coated apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until apples are tender and lightly crisp.

Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks.

Gently fold in caramel sauce and vanilla extract until well blended.

Transfer warm apple wedges to a serving platter. Serve with caramel whipped cream and drizzle extra caramel sauce over apples if desired.

Notes

Choose tart apples like Granny Smith for contrast or sweet apples like Honeycrisp for a dessert-forward flavor.

Serve immediately for best texture.

You can use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce.
